Calibration software for NATA-oriented labs means records an assessor can follow: recall, result, certificate, who did the work. Certyfi stores that loop. Certyfi is not a NATA lab, is not NATA-accredited as an entity, and is not “NATA certified software”.
Australian labs that hold or pursue NATA accreditation already know the difference between a pretty PDF and a defensible file. The defensible file is tied to the instrument, the date, the method the lab put on its scope, and the people who signed. Certyfi is the system of record for customers, equipment, schedules, PASS / CONDITIONAL PASS / FAIL, and issued PDFs. Scope, uncertainty and proficiency testing stay with the laboratory.
They look for identity of the item, traceability of the result, control of the process, and certificates that match the work. They do not look for a SaaS vendor’s accreditation number on a marketing page. Putting “NATA approved” on a software site is a claim we will not make.
